A Video speed accelerator is what I really needed when I have to watch instructional videos. When I began my journey at Wealthy Affiliates I was watching a lot of videos. This can be very time consuming just sitting there. When I finally found Enounce I tried it for free for a month. But now that my trial period has ended, I missed the program as I have to watch everything at normal speed. I finally bought it and now I have more time for other things watching videos up to 2-3 times faster.
My rating 99% Excellent program that helps save time.

What I Iike about Enounce
I have found that I can clearly understand the speech on the video when I speed up to 2.0 (depending on the speaker) and also follow the instructions shown on the screen. There is no “chipmunk” sound in the speech.
I now save so much time when watching training videos at Wealthy Affiliates and other instructional videos.
I can speed up the video and still catch the content until I reach the important sections and then slow down. The slider really helps here.
After using Enounce for 7 weeks I have nothing to complain about. I am sitting here trying to think of a CON that I can write in, but nothing comes to mind. So I will end with a 99.9% satisfactionrating.
A worthwhile product to have if you have to watch a lot of video’s.
Can you imagine yourself blind? You have been given the ability to see. Why ruin one of our 5 senses by spending hours at a computer screen or watching television for hours without protection.
A friend of mine just got a new job which demanded that he spend 8 hours a day at a computer. His eyes felt strained and tired. He used to come home feeling tired, sometimes with headaches and if he did some computer work or watched TV at home he could not fall asleep. He began taking sleeping tablets just so he could sleep and go to work the next day. He realized he had a problem and a friend told him to get computer eye glasses that cut out the blue light. After getting a pair he began to feel better, stopped taking those sleeping tablets and his eyes were not tired anymore after long sessions in front of a screen.
What choice do we have when looking for protective eye glasses?
Searching on the internet he found numerous eye glasses for computer users starting with low budget to expensive ones. He bought a cheap pair to try it out. But that did not make much difference. He then did some research and found out more about BLUE LIGHT, ANTI-REFLECTION and TINTED LENSES. His research led him to a few manufacturers of protective exeglasses and finally settled for a pair from Gunnar through Amazon. Ever since he got those glasses he has been a different person.
Light consists of electromagnetic particles that travel in waves. The waves emit energy, and range in strength and length. Shorter the wavelength; higher the energy. The length of these waves is measured in Nanometers (nm), with 1 nanometer equaling 1 billionth of a meter. Every wavelength has a different color, and is grouped into categories: gamma rays, x-rays, ultraviolet (UV) rays, visible light, infrared light, and radio waves. All together these wave lengths make up the electromagnetic spectrum. The human eye is sensitive to only one part of this spectrum: visible light which is part of the electromagnetic spectrum that is seen as colors: violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red. The shortest wave length is the Blue wave and so produces a higher amount of energy. Studies have shown that over exposure over time to blue light could cause serious long-term damage to your eyes.
Why is the sky blue? As light from the sun travels through the atmosphere the shorter high energy blue wave lengths collide with the air molecules and make the sky look blue. This natural form of blue light is good for the body and regulates your sleep and awake cycles known as the circadian rhythm. Natural blue light also helps boost alertness, reaction times, mood elevation and a general better feeling. The artificial sources of blue light are fluorescent bulbs, LED lights, computer screens and mobile devices such as telephones.
Why should we be concerned about blue light exposure?
The shortest light waves have the highest energy in the light spectrum. Because they are short these wave lengths flicker more than the longer, weaker wave lengths. This is what causes glare and reduces sharpness, clarity and visual contrast. The flickering and contrast are the cause of eyestrain, headaches and mental fatigue. That’s the reason we squint when our eyes are tired and this could be caused by hours in front of a screen. Eyes do not have enough protection against blue light . Extended exposure could cause retinal damage and in later years macular degeneration which can lead to loss of vision. Today’s electronic devices use back-light LED technology that helps enhance brightness and clarity. These devices emit the strong blue light waves. As technology progresses and so does social media and the race to have the latest and the best we are putting our eyesight on the line.
Effects of blue light exposure on our health?
Melatonin is the hormone that regulates our sleep. Extensive exposure to blue light lowers the production of melatonin. Extensive exposure to blue light also boosts our moods and awareness which might be the cause of today’s aggressive youth. Surveys of children found that three quarters spent approximately 3-4 hours a day in front of a TV or a computer and possibly more using the modern telephone. With the age of social media we are concentrating much more and relying on our mobile phones for information. The use of this small screen closer to the eyes can escalate eyes damage.
Eyeglasses that help block blue light
Here are some of my recommendations. I have 3 pairs of Gunnar eyeglasses. One at work, one at home and I use one in the car when I drive. The newer cars are equipped with blue lights and hurt my eyes. Now with my Gunnar glasses I am not bothered by the oncoming traffic. I have included other brands below so you can decide what is best for you and your budget.
Gunnar will also make Prescription glasses for computer users.
